My name is Tracy Abbott. I am the special education teacher for grades K - 4 at Rutherford School. This year I will also be traveling to Kenton each day as their special education teacher.
I am a graduate of Bethel College in McKenzie, Tennessee. I have my master's degree in special education. I am in my fourth year of teaching here at Rutherford. I have been married for 23 years to Alan Abbott of Rutherford. We have three children. Jacob is 21 and a senior at UTM. He married Rachel Carrol this past year and they are expecting their first child in September. Tori is 18 and a freshman at UTM. Maddie is 11 and in the sixth grade.
I am also the assistant softball coach for our girl's junior high team. I am actively involved in my church, Calvary Baptist. I love working with all children, they are my passion.
